Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") set forth the conditions for use of the mobile application "JH Society BeStudy" (hereinafter referred to as "App") provided by crelve (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us"). By using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 1. Application

These Terms apply to all relationships between users and us regarding the use of this App.

Article 2. Service Description

This App is an educational application designed to support the study of junior high school social studies (geography, history, and civics). It provides quiz-based learning features.

Article 3. User Registration

1. This App can be used without account registration.
2. Authentication via Apple ID or email address may be required to use the learning data synchronization feature.

Article 4. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not engage in the following activities when using this App:

1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
2. Acts related to criminal activities
3. Acts that infringe on intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, reputation, or other rights or interests of us or third parties
4. Acts that destroy or interfere with the functions of our servers or network
5. Acts that may interfere with the operation of this App
6. Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
7. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling of this App
8. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of App content
9. Other acts that we deem inappropriate

Article 5. Suspension of Service

We may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of this App without prior notice to users if any of the following circumstances occur:

1. When performing maintenance or updates on the computer system for this App
2. When it becomes difficult to provide this App due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
3. When computer or communication lines are stopped due to an accident
4. Other cases where we determine that it is difficult to provide this App

Article 6. Paid Services

1. Some features of this App are provided as paid services (subscription).
2. Fees for paid services shall be as displayed within the App.
3. Payment is processed through the Apple App Store payment system.
4. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
5. Refunds are subject to Apple App Store policies.

Article 7. Usage Restrictions

We may restrict all or part of the use of this App for users who fall under any of the following without prior notice:

1. Violation of any provision of these Terms
2. Other cases where we determine the use of this App is inappropriate

Article 8. Disclaimer

1. We do not warrant, expressly or impliedly, that this App is free from defects in fact or law (including defects relating to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors, bugs, infringement of rights, etc.).
2. This App is intended to support learning and is not a substitute for school education or tutoring.
3. While we strive for accuracy in the content of this App, we do not guarantee passing exams or improving grades.
4. We shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users arising from this App, except in cases of our intentional or gross negligence.

Article 9. Changes to Service

We may change, add, or discontinue the content of this App with prior notice to users, and users shall agree to this.

Article 10. Changes to Terms

We may change these Terms as we deem necessary without notice to users. The changed Terms shall take effect from the time they are posted on this App.

Article 11. Handling of Personal Information

Personal information obtained through the use of this App shall be handled appropriately in accordance with our "Privacy Policy".

Article 12. Notices and Communication

Notices or communications between users and us shall be made by methods determined by us.

Article 13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Japanese law.
2. Any disputes arising in connection with this App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
